Shloka 1
If 7th lord & Karka Venus are conjoined and not related to malefic, native will have only one wife.
Shloka 2, 3 & 4
If 7th lord is related to malefic and malefic(s) are posited in 2nd and 7th house; Venus is either in 11th or debilitated; 7th lord is posited in 6th or 12th house - native will have more than one wife. If malefic occupies lagna it indicates similar results.
Shloka 5
If Saturn, Mars and Venus are weak and placed in 2nd, 7th, 8th, 12th or 4th house, native willl have two wives*. (*Kuja Dosha resulting in loss of first wife)
Shloka 6
If Mars is placed in 2nd, 7th, 8th, 4th or 12th house and Jupiter is placed in 2nd house, native will have 2nd wife late in life.
Shloka 7
If Saturn is in 2nd house or Rahu is in 7th house, learned state that native will have two marriages.
Shloka 8 & 9
If 2nd & 7th houses are occupied by either their lords or Venus and benefic either aspect or joins them, then number of wives will be equal to number of such planets. But only one wife will live if malefic join them.

Learned states that native will be passionate for his own wife if Venus and Saturn are placed in 7th house.

One should state passion for other women when Mercury is placed in 7th house. Jupiter in 7th house gives virtuous and devoted wife.
Shloka 12
Rahu in 7th makes the native skillful. Ketu in 7th give canny and deceptive wife.
