There are four important points to be examined. To evaluate it mathematically, we can give each point 25 marks & total 100.
1) From the lagna, see how MD lord is placed. If it is placed in 6/8/12, it is very bad placement & zero marks out of 25 is given. If placed in 2nd house, it is neutral placement & 12.5 marks are given. If placed in kendra / trikona, it gets 25 marks
2) From MD lord, see how LL is placed. If it is placed in 6/8/12, it is bad placement.
3) From lagna, see how AD lord is placed. If it is 2-12, it is very bad. 6/8 is also bad.
4) From AD lord, see how LL is placed placed. If it is 2-12, it is very bad. 6/8 is also bad
Debit / credit of Karmic effects
Look for 5th house similarly replacing Lagna & LL with 5H / 5L
How to check the strength of planets
1) Strength of lords should be checked in D-9
2) Strength of planets should be checked in D-30
3) Dignity of Sun should be checked in D-12
4) Dignity / strength of Mars should be checked in D-3
5) Strength of Mercury should be checked in D-9
6) Strength of Jupiter should be checked in D-7
7) Moon is considered weak if placed in 3-6-8-11-12 houses
8) For LL: See, who is dispositor of LL. Now see in which Navamsha it is placed. Now see its Navamsha lord position with respect to LL in rashi chart. If they are in kendra / trikona from each other, it is considered as auspicious placement & we can consider LL strong in the chart
9) For Moon: In the same fashion as above but we have to see it Navamsha chart instead of rashi chart
2) Tatwa of the rising ascendant & its strength in decreasing order. It indicates the capacity to fight diseases & it does not mean that native will remain ill.
1) 1-5-9 & Dhanu being weakest among the three
2) 2-6-10
3) 3-7-11
4) 4-8-12 and Pisces is the weakest among three as well all rasis
3) Mrityu Bhag
Every planet or rising ascendant placed in 12 different rasi at specific degrees is considered to be in Mrityu Bhag. But it will be very rare that planet or ascendant will be placed at exact degrees as specified in classical texts. So how should we decide that a planet is in Mrityu Bhag or not. Shri Vinay Gupta ji takes it in Mrityu Bhag when a planet or ascendant is placed within one degree from the given degrees but before that specified degrees. For example, for Venus, Mrityu Bhag degree is 19 degree in Meena rashi. He would consider Mrityu Bhag from 18 degrees to 19 degrees. Shri K N Rao takes it plus minus 48 minutes on both sides. Some Astrologers take 15 minutes plus minus for slow moving planets & 30 minutes for fast moving planets. Planet placed in Mrityu Bhag can give health issues especially when it is related to Maraka planets / lords of 22nd dreshkanna / 64th Navamsha / 85th dwadashamsa / 3-5-7 Nakshatra lord from Janma Nakshatra / afflicted etc during its dasa periods. AD of planet placed in Mrityu Bhag will give health issues when it (natal) will be afflicted in transit also.

DOB: 11 October 1942

He faced fatal intestinal injury while filming Coolie on 26 July 1982 during Saturn - Sun when Sun was afflicted in transit also. Saturn is lagna lord as well 12th lord & retrograde. During Mercury - Sun dasa he failed in his career & was under huge debts.
Sun natal degrees: 24 degree 22 minutes. Saturn (LL & MD lord also) was transiting over Sun placed in 8th house at 23 degrees very close to natal Sun degrees. Saturn was in Karka Navamsha which is rasi of 6th house of rasi chart. AD lord Sun itself was transiting in 6th house in Karka rashi & Sun was in Kanya Navamsha which is rasi of 8th house of rashi chart. During major health concerns, malefic rasis (4th from Moon in Navamsha, 8th house rasi in D-3 & 8th house rasi from Sun in D-12) in rashi chart will be under malefic influence. In his horoscope, 64th Navamsha rasi is Mesha, D-3 8th rasi is Kanya & D-12 relevant rasi is Makara. Kanya is transited by Saturn. Makara is aspected by Mars. Amitab's ascendant degree is 1 degree 47 minutes & on the day of incident, Saturn was 23 degrees. Taking aspect as per shadbala concept, Saturn had covered 6th house cusp.
Yogini Dasa, Shodashottri Dasa, Dwadashottri Dasa, Shattrimshat dasa, Panchotri Dasa also applies in horoscope indicating similar concerns.
Char Dasa
It was Leo MD which can give such type of problems. He was under Leo-Libra dasa. Leo is the rasi of the 7th house occupied by Rahu & aspected by Moon who is not only GK but 6th lord also. Lord of Leo is Sun who is AK. Leo is KL. There are only malefic in kendra from Leo. Tula is rasi of 9th house but occupied by GK Moon & aspected by 12th lord retrograde Saturn. Lords of Leo & Libra are placed in 8th house with 8th lord.
Sthira Dasa also indicated similar results

4) Sarpa Dreshkanna
When a planet is placed in watery sign, it can be placed in Sarp Dreshkanna as under
1) II & III Dreshkanna of Cancer i.e. Scorpio & Pisces Dreshkanna
2) I & II of Scorpio
3) III of Scorpio
A planet or ascendant in Sarpa Dreshkanna can give health problems / longevity problems but it is good for spirituality.
5) LL in 5th house looks to be auspicious & it should give longevity. But this placement is not auspicious as it is Balarishta yoga. Once native attains the age of balarishta than this placement gives long life.
6) The first breath is the lagna & last breath is 10H. 10H indicates number of breath native is allotted in the life so 10H will also indicate end of Karmas
7) For longevity, analyse in the following pattern
a) Lagna & LL
b) 8H - 8L & 3H - 3L
c) 10H & 10L
d) Saturn
e) 12H - 12L
PAM method (P for Purnayu, A for Alpayu & M for Madhyayu)
1) LL & 8L
2) Lagna & Moon
3) Lagna & Parashari Hora Lagna
When the above mentioned pairs (for example LL & 8L) are placed in chara rasi it gives purnayu. When one is in sthira rasi & other is in dwiswabhav rasi, it again gives purnayu
When both in dwishabhav rashi, it gives madhyayu. When one is in chara rasi & other is in sthira rasi, it again gives madhyayu
When both are in sthira rasi, it gives alpayu. When one is in chara & other is in Dwisabhav, it gives alpayu. If (1) & (2) gives different ayu, we sue the third one to decide.
Some Astrologers take (2) pair as Moon & Saturn & some take Lagna & Saturn instead of Moon & Lagna.
