ADOPTION 

Adoption in Astrological context is classified as under 

1. Child is adopted by non biological parents
2. Either parent dies & living parent re-marries so child has non biological parent as either parent
3. Parents divorce & remarry so child has non biological parent as either parent 

ASTROLOGICAL PARAMETERS 

1) Mars should be connected with Lagna & 4H
2) Role of 4H (mother) & / or 9H (father)
3) Role of 3H, 8H & 12H. 9-8 connection will be found in most of horoscopes 
4) D-1, D-12, D-4, D-8 to be examined
5) Appropriate Dasa at the time of adoption

EXAMPLE HOROSCOPE 1 

This is the horoscope of Bill Clinton. His father died 3 months before his birth due to automobile accident. So, if we have to look for Astrological reasons for the death of his father, refer to dasa running three months before his birth. It was Venus-Ketu-Saturn. Venus is the lord of 9th house placed in lagna in debilitation with 8th lord Mars & aspected by 6th lord Saturn. 9th house is also in R/K axis. Sun is placed in 12th house in Paap Kartari Yoga as Mercury is malefic due to association with Saturn. Venus is conjunct 3rd lord Mars & Ketu is placed in 3rd house. Saturn as 6th lord aspects 9th lord Venus. In D-12 chart, Venus is placed in 8th house & Ketu is placed in lagna conjunct 12th lord Sun & aspected by 8th lord Mars. Saturn aspects the 8th house. 9th lord from Sun is Mars who is aspected by Saturn. In D-12, 9th lord from Sun is Venus who is placed in 8th house under aspect of Saturn.  

His mother later remarried in 1950 in Sun-Saturn dasa. Saturn is lord of 2H from 4H in rasi chart conjunct 7L Mercury from 4H. In D-12, Saturn is placed in 2H with 7L Jupiter. In D-12, Saturn is 2L from 4H & aspects 7L Mercury from 4H.

D-4 is examined to see movement from living place. In D-4, 4th house is afflicted. 4th lord is afflicted. Karaka Moon of native place is in Paap Kartari Yoga. It was Maha Dasa of 12th lord Sun who is placed in 12th house indicating movement from his place to some other place (his non biological father). D-8 is examined to see death of either or both parents. In D-8, Venus & Ketu are conjunct 12th lord Sun under aspect of 6th lord Saturn. (See Ketu in 5th house & not in 11th house)

4H is aspected by 3L & 8L Mars & 12L Sun & is under affliction. 4L Jupiter is placed in 12H conjunct 6L Saturn. Moon is conjunct Ketu in bhava chart in 7H. 9H is aspected by 6L Saturn. 9L is placed in 8H in R/K axis. Sun is conjunct 8L Mars. 

3) Role of 3H, 8H & 12H.  9-8 connection will be found in most of horoscopes 

All three are connected to 4H/9H

5) Appropriate Dasa at the time of adoption

Dasa at birth was Saturn-Sun-Rahu. Saturn is placed in 12H with 4L Jupiter. Sun itself is 12L conjunct 8L Mars aspecting 4H. Rahu dispositor Venus is in 8H & Rahu is aspected by 6L Saturn.
