Moon rules over heart. It takes light from Sun like other planets & it is like a smaller king of Sun. Sun may give orders with aggression but Moon follows them by heart & with peace. Moon prefers to be at the feet of Sun. The place of the Moon in hand (palmistry) may be away from Moon but Moon line (or heart line) passes through the feet of Sun. Wife (Venus), brother in laws (Mars benefic), Guru, father, male elders (Jupiter) all come to the sea or river of Moon to provide peace & coolness to eyes (Saturn) & head (Mercury) from the heat of Sun light. Full Moon light with shining Moon is ruled by Moon. Starting from Sun set it is ruled by Rahu for dusk time, appx 2 hours before Sun rise by Ketu & rest of the night is ruled by Saturn.
When we talk about LK dasa of Moon, it lasts for only one year. Each dasa has three antar dasa. In Moon, first AD of 4 months is of Jupiter. Second AD is of Sun & last AD is of Moon itself. Two artificial planets of Moon are Jupiter & Sun. So in nutshell, Sun (from it takes light) & Jupiter (air, oxygen) effects added to effects of Moon.

It can give suicidal tendencies also. 100% aspect (1-7 & 4-10) is extremely bad (water arrangement under stairs). 50% aspect (3H to 11H & 9H & 5H to 9H) is also bad. 25% aspect is partially bad.
When Moon & Mercury are placed in each other houses like Moon in 7H or Mercury in 4H, & alone, they will give good results. But together in these houses will not give benefic results
When Moon aspects Saturn, Saturn will give bad results & Moon will give good results
When Saturn aspects Moon, Moon will give bad results but Saturn will give good results
When Moon & Saturn are placed in adjacent houses, they will give independent results as they are enemies. But mixing Saturn & Moon will spoil all good results.
