UNDERSTANDING GOOD OR BAD PLANET PLACEMENTS

SUN

Sun rules the light & heat. Jupiter rules over its glow. Mars rules over its rays. Mercury rules over its round shape & Moon rules over its shine. Any person sitting at authoritative position can not be soft & must maintain strong temperament but excess of heat & anger can spoil good results of Sun. LK states that "Dukandari narmi ki aur hakim garmi ka hona chaheey" meaning that a shopkeeper or professional should treat his customers softly with professional approach & a person in authoritative position should keep strong temperament but with controlled temper.
When Sun is alone & ill placed, debilitated etc., native may suffer on account of excessive anger, progeny's fortune & longevity or support of father. When Sun is connected with Rahu, it gives ill thoughts; with Saturn it makes one dishonest; With Venus it makes one flirt with loose morals; with Ketu it makes one believe on hearsay or native easily gets influenced.
Performing Sun's remedies will be helpful in case Sun itself is not ill placed.

Sun with Rahu forms full eclipse yoga & Sun with Ketu forms partial eclipse yoga. Sun results depends on placement of Rahu, Ketu, Mars & Mercury. For example, When Mars + Mercury are together, it is not considered auspicious for results of Sun especially when Sun + Rahu are also conjunct
When Sun is well placed in horoscope, Moon, Venus & Mercury will give good results
When Ketu alone is placed in 1H, Sun will give results like an exalted planet
When Mars is placed in 6H, Sun will give results like an exalted planet
Sun in 6H / 7H is not considered so auspicious as it can give concerns in career, financial loss, failure in emotional relationship or love affairs or due to wrong decisions or over kindness or stupidity etc. Even own progeny may be the cause of financial loss. For Sun ill placed in 7H, LK states that the male child of the native may be dumb from birth or native may suffer financially after his male child starts speaking in early childhood.
Native with good Sun in horoscope will be truthful in nature. Native will never ask or expect any free help from others rather he may help others. Native may face hardships in life to get progress but will not give hardship to others. Native will have peaceful death without sufferings.
Relation of Sun with Moon : When Sun is aspecting Moon (except from 1H), Moon good results for wealth will be experienced after the half age of Moon i.e. after 12 years. Native can expect Moon's good results in 6/12/24 years & during Varshphala in 3/6/12 months.
When Moon is aspecting Sun, Moon will extend no help to Sun & its own results may be good or bad.

Relation of Sun with Mercury : When Mercury is placed in its exaltation house i.e. 6H & Sun is well placed in horoscope, native will earn good wealth through the power his pen & be honest. When Sun aspects Mercury through 100% aspect (possible in Varshphala), Sun will get support. When Sun aspects Mercury through 50% aspect, native's in laws will be wealthy & wife will also be fortunate. When Sun aspects Mercury through 25% aspect, native will be well versed in astrology, mathematics, meditation, yoga & be devoted at his work. When Mercury aspects Sun (any percentage), Mercury will give good results. Native will have good health, intellect, spouse etc.
Relation of Sun with Saturn : When Saturn aspects Sun through 25% aspect, Sun will give inauspicious results but Venus will give good results. Native may be editor or good mathematician. When Saturn aspects Sun through 50% aspect, Saturn related work will be auspicious for example property related. When Saturn aspects Sun through 100% aspect, native will be like a magician i.e. smart & successful in life. When Saturn is in previous houses & Sun is in later houses, Saturn will mix its results in Sun & Sun may not give good results. It will give health issues & physical weakness. This aspect may not cause any harm to important parts of Sun i.e. Moon, Mars, Jupiter & Mercury (as mentioned above). It will not give any adverse results for professional & income. As a remedy, bury fresh mud pot filled with water in south direction towards right side in living house. The pot should not become dry till 40 - 43 days so keep refilling it.
When Sun aspects Saturn from previous houses, Venus may give bad results. Wife may die. But it may not give bad results for health.
When Sun gets the support of its friendly planets i.e. Jupiter, Moon or Mars & native does not consume excess salt especially uncooked salt, Sun will give good results & native will progress in his professional life, be kind to others & will rise above his father.
When Sun is placed in 1H / 5H / 11H in natal chart or Varshphala, its results will be as under. Sun placed in 1H will extend support to conjunct planets whether friendly or inimical. When Sun is placed in 5H / 11H, other associated planets will extend support to Sun. But when there is full eclipse yoga i.e. Sun + Rahu or Moo + Ketu, Sun may not give any good results till combined age of Rahu & Ketu i.e. 45 years
Whenever Sun is alone & ill placed, Sun itself may not suffer but it will result in sacrifice of Ketu i.e. bad results related to male progeny. Excess anger & hot temperament will give very bad results. Keeping habit of donations can protect the native
Whenever Sun comes to 1H in Varshphala irrespective of its placement in natal chart, Venus may give inauspicious results like a debilitated planet. Performing Mercury remedies will protect the native.
Sun placed alone in enemy houses i.e. 2/6/7/8/10/11/12 houses will not give good results related to that house. It does not mean that it will give only bad results. Its results in these houses will be as under :
In 2H, related to Venus like wife's wealth, taste, savings from own income, husbandless female or female in love affair. Relatives like mother, sister of father, sister of mother, potato, cow, cow ghee, camphor, mica, hornless cow, anal region etc.
In 6H, related to Ketu like male child, relatives of parents, money lending, rabbit, male sparrow bird, back etc.
In 7H, related to Venus like female but other than wife, beauty of skin, marital happiness, chari jwar, white cow, brass vessels, leather etc.
In 8H, related to Saturn like married couple, Scorpion, temple of the face etc.
In 10H, related to Saturn like ancestral property, happiness of parents, black salt, mustard oil, iron, wood, eye sight, longevity, hairs, stay in a property beyond three years, crocodile, snake, buffalo, knees etc.
In 11H, related to Saturn like conditions at birth, own income, self purchased property especially readymade, longevity of child, number of children, immediate boss, physical strength, support of Rahu & Ketu, buttocks etc.
In 12H, related to Rahu like curse, wealth, bones, blood relatives, head, intellectual work, smart & sudden ideas, marital longevity, defame, coal, elephant, skull etc.
Sun placed in any house with enemy planets like Sun + Venus, Sun + Rahu, Sun + Saturn, Sun + Ketu is not considered auspicious for that house & its inauspicious results will be experienced when they will return to that house in Varshphala. The inauspicious results will be experienced in between 22 to 45 years. For example, Sun + Venus are placed in 5H, & when they will return to 5H in Varshphala (in 34th year), they will give inauspicious results. Here Venus may give bad results related to wife, skin, mud related etc. Inauspicious results may be experienced in Venus age also i.e. 25 years. Mercury remedies will be helpful. But when a friendly planet as third planet also joins, friendly planet will give inauspicious results related to that house & enemy planet will not give bad results.
When enemy planets are placed in previous houses aspecting Sun in later houses, Sun will give inauspicious results to the native. But in reverse situation, inauspicious results will be related to enemy planet & house instead of native
When Sun is enforcing bad results for other planets, it will be auspicious to take help of its friendly planets. For Sun in 6H / 7H, Mercury remedies will be helpful.
When Sun is spoiling results of any planet, Sun remedies will be helpful. When Sun is getting spoiled due to enemy planet, perform remedies of that inimical planet.
Sun in the 1H, which is the house of its exaltation, extends full support for father but expect no obligation from his progeny. Native may or may not get any wealth from father but native will certainly give wealth to his progeny. Native will be believer of Justice without any partiality but will have kind nature & mercy. Sun alone in debilitation or otherwise not well placed in horoscope, it will not impact results of Sun but Ketu will give bad results in regards to progeny.
