VENUS
- Venus has no connection with the material fortune rather Venus governs over love, romance of male & female. Venus has capacity to convert failure to success & vice versa
- Venus rules over spouse, family, happiness of children etc. Its age is 25. Venus has capacity to do evil or get the evil done (as its artificial planets are Rahu & Ketu) & it decides family related results
- In male horoscope Venus rules over wife & in female horoscope it rules over husband. Venus alone does not give bad results for native & native can not interfere in other's family matters
- When Mercury is placed in a house previous to Venus, it is considered auspicious & good effects of Ketu will be mixed in their collective results.
- When Venus is placed in a house previous to Mercury it is not auspicious & bad effects of Rahu will be mixed in their collective results.
- When Venus is aspected by friendly planet, its results are very prominent. But When Mercury is ill placed in previous houses, the bad results of Mercury will mix into Venus & Venus can not stop them. It will adversely effect family life
- When Venus & Mercury are not placed in 1-4-7-10 houses, & placed in 1/7 axis like Venus in 2H & Mercury in 8H, Venus in 3H & Mercury in 9H, Venus in 6H & Mercury in 12H, Venus in 8H & Mercury in 2H, both planets & both houses will give inauspicious results. This does not apply on Mercury in 6H & Venus in 12H as both will be exalted & good effects of Ketu will also be added. But their effects will not be mixed in each other
- When Mercury is well placed in previous houses from Venus, it can mix its results into Venus through its special drain & can improve Venus results from bad to good. But when Mercury is conjunct a planet who is inimical to Venus, Sun/Moon/Rahu, Venus will not allow Mercury to mix its results in it. So in such situation, Mercury can not spoil results of Venus
- When Saturn & Sun are conjunct, it does not adversely impact native & they give their individual good or bad results. But when a planet is aspecting Saturn + Venus conjunction, Saturn will destroy that planet. When Saturn & Sun are fighting (opposition & when Sun aspects Saturn), the malefic effects are transferred on Venus. When Sun aspects Saturn, Saturn may not be effected rather Venus results are spoiled as Saturn will sacrifice Venus instead itself. When Saturn is aspecting Sun, Venus will give good results. When Saturn is placed in previous houses than Sun, male planets (excluding Sun) & Venus will be in general auspicious. When Venus aspects Saturn, it gives loss of wealth through relatives etc. but when Saturn aspects Venus, it is considered auspicious & most of the planets will have tendency to give good results. When Venus is connected with enemy planet through aspect or otherwise, both will give bad results from their work, relative etc.
- Venus (cow) & Rahu (elephant) relation is not considered auspicious. When they are connected through aspect, Venus results will be spoiled like spouse, family etc. Wealth will also be impacted. It will effect longevity of spouse also.
- When two inimical planets are in adjacent houses, they will remain separate. But when Venus is placed in inimical house & Rahu is placed in adjacent house to Venus, Rahu will destroy good results of Venus similar to conjunction
- When Venus is aspecting inimical planet in natal horoscope & Venus is ill placed in any Varshphala, during that year, inimical planet will destroy good results of Venus despite it may not have any connection with Venus in that Varshphala. Native might be harming that inimical planet secretively earlier & in that Varshphala, work, relative etc. of that inimical planet will be cause of destruction
- When Moon (milk) is well placed, Venus (curd) will generally be of good effects
- When Mercury is well placed especially before Venus, Venus will be of good effects
- Dual nature of Venus in different houses is explained as under
- Venus in 1H makes one very sensuous & passionate for opposite gender & may fall for someone having very poor physical appearance & of very low status. LK gives example of very beautiful queen Rajiya Sultan who had fallen in love with his own black slave. Native will have extreme conditions related to wealth like either very wealthy or very poor
- Venus in 2H is considered auspicious for family except related to begetting progeny. Native may be very handsome / beautiful & may have over pride of his / her beauty. Venus will be like a mistress who will be liked by all but native may not like anyone as he / she may expect person with best beauty in world like Aishwarya Rai or Ritik Roshan
- Venus in 3H : Spouse of the native will be very hard working & brave. LK states that this Venus is no more a cow rather equal to bull. Native will have such allurement / attraction that some female may fall deeply in love with native.
- Venus in 4H gives two spouses but native may not beget progeny from either spouse
- Venus in 5H gives more than one child but none will give due respect

- Venus in 9H may give all facilities at home & wealth but native may face heavy expenses due to ill health of spouse. Ill placed Venus in 9H makes Mars malefic (Mangal Bd)
- Venus in 10H makes gives results like Saturn. One will have capacity to take away someone's spouse. Native may keep extra marital affairs
- Venus in 11H gives fluctuating fortune in regards to wealth. Native may be innocent
- Venus in 12H is good for native but not so auspicious for wife as she may live a sad life. Every problem in life of her husband will be first faced by her. She will keep ill health throughout life
