 MERCURY IN 8H

1. Mars is the lord of 8H & Saturn is karaka. No planet exalts in 8H & Moon debilitates. Saturn & Mars are artificial planets of exalted Rahu.
2. Mercury in 8H gives health issues, hardship, insult or damnation, secret destruction, giver of financial losses
3. Mercury in 8H if conjunct male planet will not give bad results rather it will give good results similar to that male planet
4. When Sun or Moon is placed in 4H or 4H is otherwise well placed, Mercury bad effects will be removed from 34 years. Ketu will remain protected. Longevity of mother & Moon related will give good results
5. When Mars is placed in 12H, Mercury of 8H will not give bad results
6. Both Mars & Mercury alone in 8H are inauspicious but when they are conjunct in 8H, both give good results
7. Mercury of 8H makes one knowledgeable & a trend setter
8. Mercury alone in 8H will support in regards to health (blood i.e. Mars & eyesight i.e. Saturn). But it will be inauspicious for its own significations like teeth, veins etc. It will act like a rope used for execution & poisonous teeth like of snake
9. Mercury alone in 8H gives such punishment secretively that even angel of death may also start screaming but there will be no clue of what mistake or wrong deed was done. It will result in financial losses. Native income may reduce & at times reduced to half but it will not make it zero. 
10. Native will have sudden problems in his career resulting in to financial loss. Mercury will behave like a shameless girl who traps males to extract their wealth. Mercury of 8th house will act like a shameless girl ready to chop the head & will always remain young
11. Live things related to Mercury & Mars will suffer. Its indication will be complete renovation of stairs without much need. Whenever native changes the place of home temple in his house, Mercury malefic results will be experienced with full intensity. 
12. Whenever Mercury will come back to 8H in Varshphala, it will demand serious remedies. Before the start of that Varshphala within 34 days & within 34 days of start of new Varshphala, following remedies must be performed.  Take round mud pot & fill it with honey or khand & bury at some deserted place. Actually LK is trying to place Mars in 8H to form Mars + Mercury conjunction which will stop bad results of Mercury alone. If native is experiencing very bad results, perform one more remedy similarly as above. Take a round copper pot & fill it with whole green pulse & cover it with copper & seal it with copper. Put it in flowing river / sewer. This remedy should be performed within 34 to 42 days before & after birth date. Applying black kohl on buttocks will also help control negative results. Keep rain water at roof top (12H). Put silver at nose tip of daughter. The daughter of the native should never wear silky type shining red clothing. Cotton red is not a problem
13. Mercury alone in 8H will never give good results. 
14. It will be bad up to 34 years. Mercury will add its poison in the debilitated planet of horoscope. These results will be experienced when 2H is vacant or in any Varhsphala when Mercury is in 8H & 2H is vacant
15. When there is a planet in 2H, father's longevity & wealth will be under danger during Jupiter's age i.e. 16 to 21 years
16. To reduce malefic effects during Varshphala, remedies will be decided on the basis of natal chart & Varshphala together focusing on 8H & 2H. For example, say Mercury comes back to 8H in Varshphala & during that Varshphala, Saturn comes to 2H. But in natal chart, Sun was placed in 2H. Now we will have to donate articles of natal planet of 2H to Varshphala planet of 2H. So we will donate Sun related articles like wheat, millet, jaggery, copper etc. to Saturn related relative like younger paternal uncle or animal like buffalo, fish etc. In case 2H is vacant in natal chart, perform remedies of that planet in 2H as mentioned in various chapters.  Another example, say Moon was placed in 2H in natal chart & in Varshphala, Ketu come to 2H (Mercury has come to 8H), we will donate Moon related articles to Ketu. So offer sugarless milk fudge balls (condensed milk) to dogs. If dogs do not eat it, we can leave road side where any other animal may eat it or throw them in flowing river etc. 
17. When 6H is also ill placed, all the planets excluding Jupiter will give bad results. Perform remedies of both planets
18. When there is male planet in 6H  & Mercury is in 8H (or 12H), mother will die in childhood. If she somehow survives, both will suffer badly in life. Progeny & maternal uncle will also suffer
19. When 12H is vacant, native will suffer from disease related to buttocks.
