As per Lal Kitab, Mercury + Saturn combination is a Mango tree. Saturn is snake and Mercury is flying bird hence this combination makes a poisonous snake which can fly but will be benefic for the native. It is as powerful as the bird hawk and has sharp eyes like an eagle. There will be no bad effects to progeny. Native will beget male child in 24 years and will be protected from enemies till 42 years. He will get happiness from parents for long time. Native will be fortunate and sympathetic.
Mercury + Saturn in second / twelfth house: He will benefit from the work related to Saturn (iron and stone). Native will have the capacity to change poison into nectar. Native will be highly fortunate, sympathetic and have good health. His parents will prove lucky for him. If Mars joins this combination in second house, native's father will die from articles related to Saturn like machine, motor vehicle, poison, liquor etc. or work related to Saturn will prove inauspicious for native's father.
Mercury + Saturn in fourth house: Mercury will give good results. But if malefic, native will prove inauspicious for others.
Mercury and Saturn in seventh house: Native will be rich and happy but he may be meat eater, alcoholic and ungrateful.
Mercury and Saturn in ninth house: Native will not get any benefic results till 34 years. Afterward, Saturn will give good results.
Mercury and Saturn in eleventh house: If Rahu is placed in a house before Saturn or both Rahu and Ketu are placed before Saturn or Saturn is placed before Rahu or Ketu, it gives bad results. If Saturn is benefic due to placement of Rahu-Ketu and there is no inimical aspects from third house, native is rich and happy. He will earn good wealth till 45 years.
In other houses, they give their independent results.
