As per BPHS, D-4 is seen for destiny. D-4 is also seen for property related matters, happiness etc. Each rasi is divided in four equal parts hence in D-4, planets will be placed in kendra sthana from its position in rasi chart. The ruling deities from first to fourth divisions are Sanak, Sanand, Sanat Kumar & Sanatan respectively. 

Sanak means the craze or obsession. Planet placed in this division will give craze or obsession towards meeting objectives. In simple words, it tends to give strong determination.

Sanand means with pleasure. Planet placed in this division will make the native enjoy his journey towards his goals. Even during difficult times, native will not show signs of frustration or negativity towards life. 

Sanat Kumar means perpetually or consistently or continuously young. Planet placed in this division supports regaining of state of happiness. 

Sanatan means which exists from beginning till end of this universe. Planets placed in this division promotes long term happiness. Hence if a benefic planet is placed in this division under benefic influence in rasi chart, it will give long term happiness especially in its dasa periods.

Overall happiness, efforts towards making our destiny & support of destiny. It indicates happiness achieved through our possessions. 

• Second house 

Resources to achieve happiness through possessions like property etc. 

• Third House 

Change of residence. Efforts to achieve happiness. 

 

• Fourth House                         

Property & happiness through possessions. One of the important house used for property related predictions 

• Fifth House 

Long lasting assets like property etc. Support of fortune of current birth (self) to achieve happiness & assets. 

• Sixth House  

Loss of assets & happiness on that account due to debts or enemies. It can give disputes or division of assets. It generally gives concerns which may be resolved through legal help or mutual consent. It also indicates rented assets

• Seventh House  

    Your happiness or possessions as perceived by people.  

• Eighth House 

Loss of assets due to some conspiracy or fraud or evil. If 6/8 are connected, it may give non resolvable disputes or permanent loss especially when 12th is also connected. If horoscope of native is strong in terms of property, than these connections will indicate gain of property through unlawful means. 

        

• Ninth house

Long lasting assets. Support of fortune through parental links. Sharing of assets / wealth for good cause like religious activities or charity.   

• Tenth House 

Actions to achieve assets & eventually happiness through it. 10th connected to 5/9 & under affliction gives losses through own wrong doings.   

• Eleventh House 

Gains of assets. This is one of the most important house used for property related matters. 

 

• Twelfth House  

In positive context, it may indicate assets away from native place or investments. On negative side, it indicates loss through wrong decisions. Loss of happiness. It reduces wealth & assets due to unwanted expenses. Native may be forced to stay at others place.   

How to analyze & superimpose D-4 

• Mars is the key planet for property. Jupiter & Moon are examined for mental peace & happiness. Venus gives luxury. Jupiter promotes big house, ventilation & upper floors. Saturn promotes lower floors & basement, less Sun light & small house. The indications are applicable as per natural age of planets. For example, if Saturn as a functional benefic has to give property to native, it may restrict native to small house but only up to the age of 36 years. Afterwards, native may shift to big house during auspicious & relevant dasa period. 
• Functional benefic planet of rasi chart related to 4H of rasi chart if connected to 11H of D-4 chart, it will give auspicious results in its dasa period. Even connection with 4H or lagna of D-4 is capable to confer auspicious results.
• Dhana Yoga formed in D-1 chart if repeats in D-4 chart, it gives wealth, assets etc. 
• Raj Yoga formed in D-1 chart if repeats in D-4 chart, it gives status, wealth & assets through government etc. Native will fully enjoy them & remain happy.
• Mars well placed in D-4 chart connected to 11H/4H/Lagna of D-4 promises assets. 10H is the best position.
• Jupiter involvement in D-4 chart with relevant houses gives happiness.
• 2H,11H,4H connection in rasi chart promises gains through property. If this combination repeats in D-4, it gives very auspicious results.
• 10L of rasi chart if connected to Lagna/LL of D-4 chart, it promises more than property.
• Rahu /Ketu under malefic influence generally gives loss of assets due to forceful activity of government or natural calamity.
• Change of place is seen through 12th from 4H i.e. 3rd; 6th from 4H i.e. 9H & 12H of D-4 chart. Returning back home will be seen through connection of 11/2 with Lagna/ 4H. 
• If 4L is placed in 8H, native may leave his wealth share without even fighting for it
• If 8L is placed in 4H, native may make new property by selling some old possessed property.
