As per Lal Kitab, Rahu is cooking stove and Mars is the prepared food; If Rahu is elephant, Mars is like mahout. Rahu keeps mum when conjunct with Mars. It means that now Rahu will not be able to do any mischief. If native eats food in the kitchen (because food is cooked there), native will not get any malefic results of Rahu. When they are placed in 3/6 houses, it gives extremely good results. When both are ill placed in the horoscope, it gives very bad results.
When Mars + Rahu are placed in first house and Sun is placed in 6th house, native may face problems related to progeny, urine etc. As a remedy, put a mud pitcher (matka - earthen round jar) filled with raw barley or raw mustard in flowing water.
