As per Lal Kitab, this combination indicates risk from water till the middle age. Native may feel its effects up to 45 years. It gives similar results like Moon + Saturn combination. When they are placed in 1-6 houses, it gives bad results of Moon (living beings) like mother. When Moon + Rahu are placed in 7-12 houses, it generally does not give bad results or otherwise it gives bad results to both native and his mother.
The bad effects of Rahu will be restricted to the house where both these planets are conjunct. Native's in-laws will financially suffer. Native will have some illusions and false worries in his mind. Native may suffer from skin diseases.
To ward off evils of Rahu, one should perform remedies of Ketu. If Ketu is malefic, take help of Mercury. If Mercury is also malefic, take the help of Jupiter. If Jupiter is also malefic, Moon's remedy will help and lastly Saturn remedies will give relief to the native. Putting Rahu's articles in flowing water during eclipse will ward off evils.
Rahu + Moon in 3rd house: Ketu and Mercury will give bad results till 34 years.
Rahu + Moon in 7th house: Native gets positive results related to wife and government. But his in-laws will suffer.
Rahu + Moon in 9th House: It is considered as half eclipse but still native gets happiness at ancestral house and he regains his lost wealth.
Rahu + Moon in 12th House: Inauspicious. Venus will also give bad results.
Lal Kitab Remedies for Rahu + Moon:
1) Burn some gold in a flame and put it in the milk. Drink this milk for begetting child.
2) Perform remedies of Rahu and Ketu.
3) Use silver.
